the method of replace the excavator front idler:

1.remove the crawler belt of the excavator.

Removethe singlevalve at the position of the grease nipple, release the butter inside, push thefront idler in with a bucket, make the track as loose as possible, and remove the track pin if the excavator used is below 150,If it is more than 150, use a bucket to hook off the track. Remember to remove the single valve, otherwise it will be difficult to remove the track, let alone install it.

2.Installfront idler.

Thefront idlerinstallation is the same as the general wheel installation method. Use a jack to support the excavator, and then use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws. After removing them, install newfront idler and apply lubricating oil to complete the installation.

The cause of damage to thefront idler assembly is mainly due to poor lubrication of thefront idler shaft.
